  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance application efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (undergraduate not accepted).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Cobol Mainframe development.
  • Expert proficiency in Cobol Mainframe programming.
  • Good to have: experience with IBM Db2 and IBM Information Management System (IMS) Database.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
  • Skilled in performance tuning, optimization, and problem resolution for mainframe applications.
  • Proficient in debugging complex issues and using version control/collaborative tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor others.
  • Amenable to hybrid work setup, onsite twice a week at UT2, with a mid-shift schedule.
