We are looking for an 
Application Review Manager
 who will oversee the evaluation and processing of loan applications within our organization. You will lead a team responsible for thoroughly reviewing and analyzing loan documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team to meet performance targets.

What you will be doing:

• Team Leadership:
  Lead and manage a team of loan application reviewers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and accurate reviewing of loan applications.
• Application Review:
  Oversee the review and analysis of loan applications to determine applicant eligibility, creditworthiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company established procedures and policies.
• Risk Assessment:
  Conduct risk assessments on loan applications, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate actions and strategies to mitigate them.
• Quality Assurance:
  Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in the review process, including regular audits and performance evaluations.
• Compliance Monitoring:
  Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting loan processing and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Communication:
  Liaise with internal departments, external partners, and regulatory authorities as needed to address inquiries, resolve issues, and improve the efficiency of processing applications.
• Performance Management:
  Monitor team performance metrics, such as application processing times, accuracy rates, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline loan application review procedures and enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in loan processing, underwriting, or credit analysis, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of lending principles, credit risk assessment, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and make informed decisions.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and loan processing systems.
• Certification in loan processing, underwriting, or related areas is a plus.
