We're currently seeking a SEO Specialist / Reputation Manager who can safeguard and strengthen our clients' online presence through precise backlink management and proactive authority building.

The Role: SEO Specialist / Reputation Manager

You will be responsible for the health, quality, and growth of client backlink profiles, including removing toxic links, submitting disavows, identifying new link opportunities, and strengthening local visibility.

This is a technical, detail-heavy, and communication-focused role that directly impacts client rankings, trust signals, and long-term SEO performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesBacklink Audits & Disavow Management

• Perform in-depth backlink audits using SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
• Identify toxic, spammy, or low-quality domains negatively affecting trust and rankings.
• Prepare and maintain disavow files and submit them to Google Search Console.
• Monitor recovery progress and provide clear reporting on changes in backlink health.

Reputation & Authority Building

• Source high-quality, relevant backlink opportunities that align with client niches.
• Manage outreach for white-hat link building, brand mentions, and digital PR.
• Strengthen local authority through directory optimization, citation cleanup, and niche-related listings.
• Track competitor backlink strategies and identify potential opportunities.

Client Communication & Reporting

• Prepare clear monthly backlink and reputation reports for assigned clients.
• Explain toxic links, disavow actions, link-building strategies, and expected outcomes in simple, client-friendly terms.
• Communicate recommendations confidently using data and industry best practices.
• Participate in client calls when backlink-specific questions arise.

Internal Collaboration

• Work hand-in-hand with the SEO, Content, and Client Relations teams to coordinate link-building strategies.
• Use Slack for daily communication and Notion for process documentation.
• Ensure all tasks, audits, and outreach follow-ups are accurately logged in our CRM.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years SEO experience with agency background—Local SEO experience is required.
• Proven expertise in backlink audits, disavowing, sourcing new backlinks, and link quality evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Search Console.
• Strong understanding of link equity, domain authority, spam indicators, and white-hat link-building.
• Excellent written and spoken English for professional client communication.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Close, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
• Comfortable using Slack and Notion for daily workflow management.
• Highly organized and capable of maintaining meticulous documentation.
• Must be based in the Philippines.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with Google penalty recovery (manual actions, algorithmic drops).
• Background in digital PR or media outreach.
• Knowledge of local directories, niche citation building, and brand mention acquisition.
• Understanding of broader marketing channels such as content strategy, PPC, and social media.
