What We Seek: We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist with strong regulatory and customer service expertise to oversee product compliance activities while ensuring adherence to applicable local and international regulations, particularly those of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Philippine Pharmacy Law (RA This role ensures that all products meet legal requirements, supports regulatory documentation, facilitates government liaison, and provides pharmacy-related guidance to internal teams, distributors, and customers. The ideal candidate has proven experience in regulatory submissions, product registration, FDA compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Regulatory Affairs
- FDA Regulatory Compliance - Assists the Regulatory Affairs Officer to check and ensure that the company complies with all relevant FDA regulations and requirements and Maintain registration databases and ensure accuracy of regulatory approvals
- FDA Regulatory Maintenance - Maintain organized files to ensure all permits and FDA requirements are up to date
- Liaise and establish cooperative relationships with regional and global regulatory colleagues to ensure understanding of regulatory requirements in the Philippines and obtain documentation required for registration submissions.
- Ensure Timely Communication with regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA, local health authorities) to facilitate product approvals, clearances, or updates.
- Review product labels, packaging, and marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance with FDA and other applicable standards.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Distributor relations - aids the product planning team in informing distributors of regulatory requirements in the Philippines and ensure product knowledge is cascaded efficiently for proper use
- Product Specialist - provides consultation on legal FDA requirements related to product packaging, formulation, and usage to ensure our products comply with FDA regulations
- Act as auditee/SME for regulatory issues in internal and external audits
- Participate in HADSAP representation
- Any other duties as assigned by managers
Cross- Functional Collaboration & Strategic Support
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product Development, QA) to align regulatory requirements with business objectives.
- Provide regulatory guidance during product launches, marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Participate in product lifecycle planning, ensuring regulatory considerations are embedded early in the process.
- Provide expert product guidance to customers, sales teams, and internal staff.
- Assist in answering product related inquiries via email, social media, or live events.
Content & Training Oversight
- Oversee the creation and implementation of product training programs for internal staff and external partners, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise the development and approval of product-related content for both digital marketing and internal use.
- Support content teams by reviewing technical accuracy and regulatory appropriateness of materials.
Customer Service
- Strong understanding of company products, services and marketing plan
- Helps achieve monthly sales target by regular telemarketing and upsells
- Acknowledging and responding promptly to clients' inquiries via calls, emails and walk-ins
- Guiding customers through order taking, troubleshooting and/or navigating through company sites (Back-office / U-Shop / Express)
- Reviewing client accounts, providing updates and information about orders, shipping, return and exchange, and other account related items
- De-escalating situations involving clients with concerns and/or offer further support
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by building engagement to going the extra mile
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times while ensuring professional intercompany/department coordination
- Provides product prescription for International outbound deliveries
- Product specialist – answering product related concerns from Philippines and Australia / New Zealand market
- Accurate order taking and generating invoices
- Participation in selling events and recruitment activities
- Adhering to company policy on proper attendance and being punctual.
The must-haves:
- Licensed Pharmacist in the Philippines, with a valid PRC license (mandatory).
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or equivalent; additional certification in Regulatory Affairs is an advantage.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product registration, or compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the Philippines.
- Experience in customer service, client engagement, or account management preferred.
- Knowledge of Philippine Pharmacy Law (RA 10918), FDA regulations, and other relevant local health regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using online platforms and CRM tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate regulatory documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and positive attitude when dealing with clients, distributors, and regulatory agencies
- Willingness to attend selling events, training programs, and represent the company in industry-related associations such as HADSAP.
