The Senior Security Operations Analyst (SOC) will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and analyzing the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all the information assets. They must be able to analyze all available information including logs, network traffic and all other data emanating from all security systems in place to determine the existence of anomalies, security breaches and all other related security incidents. They will coordinate triage with stakeholders on security alerts and perform Incident Response and Forensics if needed.

  • They will coach and mentor Junior Analysts in performing routine SOC tasks and be able to lead new SOC initiatives. They will be in-charge of managing assigned shifts.
  • The Sr SOC Analyst will specialize on several advance security technologies, will have the opportunity to earn security certifications and learn proper incident handling and attacker's methodology.
  • Nexus Orion has one of the best training program in terms of cyber security in the country and one of the very few who sends people out of the country for advance cybersecurity trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any collegiate course preferably in the field of Information and Communication Technology
  • Work related experience of at least four (4) years in performing security monitoring, incident response
  • Knowledge on security technologies such as SIEM, Firewalls, WAF, EDR etc.
  • Security Certification such as SEC+, CySA+, CEH or other certifications is a plus.
  • Attentive to details and meticulous with documentation, and processes.
  • Excellent work ethics, hardworking with good interpersonal skills
  • Driven and goal-oriented
  • Willing to work on shifts and On-call on few occasions.
