JOB DESCRIPTION: The Mechanic shall directly execute the service activities assigned by the Superiors, rendering the following duties and responsibilities:

  1. executing all types of service job orders, including but not limited to:

A. receiving and quality control checking of inbound equipment

B. periodic inspection, performance testing, and quality control checking of stocked equipment

C. pre-delivery inspection and preparation of outbound equipment

D. testing-commissioning of new delivered equipment

E. servicing of equipment (warranty, under service agreement, and non-warranty units)

F. inspection of jobsites/equipment operation assessment

G. special events mobilizations

  1. Preparing the vehicle, tools, equipment, materials, PPEs, and documents prior to every service job order.

  2. Safekeeping and taking care of technical references and documents that may be issued or entrusted in the course of executing the service job orders.

  3. Reading and understanding the applicable service manuals, parts manuals, service bulletins, safety guidelines before and during execution of work.

  4. Coordinating with the customer at site at all times during the execution of the service job orders.

  5. Evaluating the risks involved in the service jobs and implementing the necessary safety procedures before, during the entire work execution, until completion

  6. Regularly reporting to the Superior(s) during the execution of service job and immediately informing if there is any additional findings/critical information on the assigned service job that could affect the scope of work/target completion timeline/cost of repair.

  7. Preparing the service reports, making service recommendations, and submitting the report to his Superiors on time.

  8. Maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of his work areas.

  9. Using the correct tools and equipment for the service jobs.

  10. Ensuring that the tools, equipment, petty cash, documents, service vehicle and all other Company properties that may be assigned or entrusted to him are properly used, maintained and secured. Any unused budget, materials must be properly returned

A. OTHER FUNCTIONS

As the operational needs of the Company may require, the Management reserves the right to assign other duties or work instruction to the Employee, including the temporary cross-posting to other functions/Department(s)/Branch assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic technical course

  • 2-3 years relevant experience as Heavy Equipment Mechanic

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Can perform advanced heavy equipment operation and maintenance

  • Can perform basic troubleshooting and minor-major repairs (under the guidance of superior)

  • Ability to explain and discuss the basic machine servicing procedures/course of actions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php23,000.00 per month
