GENERAL REPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop project plans for plant manufacturing expansion, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
  • Create facility layouts and workflow designs that optimize production efficiency and material flow.
  • Design integration plans for new equipment and systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, civil) to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Resolve technical conflicts that arise at the intersection of different engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compatibility between new and existing equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • Develop technical specifications for equipment, materials, and construction.
  • Source and evaluate equipment, materials, and contractors for expansion projects.
  • Oversee equipment procurement and delivery to ensure timely availability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure quality compliance.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Monitor installation of new equipment and systems to ensure proper integration.
  • Coordinate with contractors and other departments during construction.
  • Ensure construction activities meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Create detailed project schedules with milestones and critical path analysis.
  • Monitor progress against established timelines and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Manage dependencies between different project phases and activities.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for expansion projects.
  • Implement proactive measures to address technical, schedule, and budget risks.
  • Manage change control processes to handle scope modifications.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Civil / Electrical Engineering
  • With at least one (1) year of experience in project management, preferably in a food manufacturing industry
  • Strong working knowledge in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and Microsoft Suite
  • Has the ability to demonstrate leadership and technical-related skills
  • Has good working knowledge on quality systems and machineries
  • With good analytical and problem-solving skills
