Privacy Analyst

Non-negotiable Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in privacy, computer science, information systems, and technology, or a related field
• More of a Technology Analyst - Involved in Technology Conversations. Someone who can communicate between the business and tech sides. Moreover, someone who can not only communicate the business requirements but also manage the technical side from end to end.

Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in privacy, computer science, information systems, and technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in the evaluation and deployment of privacy-enhancing technologies and working with privacy tools
• Not a Software Developer and more of a Technology Analyst
• Involved in Technology Conversations. Someone who can communicate between the business and tech sides. Moreover, someone who can not only communicate the business requirements but also manage the technical side from end to end.
• Effective and comfortable at operating in depth on the technical end, not only in creating the technical requirements but also operating alongside the developers throughout the process as they executed on the stories to confirm along the way that the stories were well understood and implemented per the business specifications.
• Someone beyond a customer support Role, but not just that, has moved to and leaned towards a Technology management Role. Someone who still possesses a sufficient depth of technical knowledge such that they are comfortable with more than work coordination. I need more than just a work coordinator.
• Familiarity with privacy laws and frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPT, or CIPM are a plus
• Technical understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, tag management, etc., is a plus
• Basic knowledge of coding or automation tools is a plus

Main responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation, deployment, and configuration of privacy-enhancing technologies
• Work with engineering, IT, and security teams to integrate privacy requirements into existing and new systems
• Monitor and enhance tools for data subject requests fulfillment, cookies consent management, and preference centers
• Perform privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments for new and existing technologies
• Identify and escalate risk related to data collection, processing, storage, and sharing
• Assist in audits, regulatory inquiries, and documentation of compliance activities
• Support data mapping initiatives, ensuring accurate data flow documentation across systems
• Provide guidance on technical privacy best practices and assist in training efforts
• Stay informed on emerging privacy technology and industry trends

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
