A Company Nurse provides essential healthcare services to employees, including first aid, basic nursing care, and health promotion, while also managing workplace health and safety programs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administering medications to patients/employees
  • Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
  • Welcomes employees and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
  • Comforts patients/employees by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions, and maintaining the reception area.
  • Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintains employees accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Helps employees in distress by responding to emergencies.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain event calendars
  • Greet and welcome customers, clients, and other visitors
  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
  • Inform other employees of visitors' arrivals or cancellations
  • Enter customer data and send correspondence
  • Copy, file, and maintain paper or electronic documents and records
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Level: Graduate of Bachelor of Science or Master Degree in Nursing
  • Pass the National Council Licensure Examination
  • Basic Computer Skills
