About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Remittance Associate to join our operations team. The role involves handling and verifying financial transactions—including telegraphic transfers, withdrawals, and deposits—while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls. The successful candidate will collaborate with relationship managers, tellers, and clients, and contribute to process improvements and accurate record-keeping for audit and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately handle, verify, and process incoming and outgoing financial transactions (e.g., telegraphic transfers, withdrawals, deposits) in a timely manner.
  • Review and validate customer instructions, signatures, account balances, and supporting documents prior to execution.
  • Maintain organized and precise records of telegraphic transfers in compliance with audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with relationship managers, tellers, and clients on TT-related inquiries; handle direct client-facing interactions with banks once regularized.
  • Support system upgrades, process enhancements, and internal control initiatives related to remittance services and in-house applications.
  • Perform other operational tasks as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in banking, finance, accounting, or related operations.
  • Solid knowledge of financial transaction processes, particularly telegraphic transfers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability in managing evolving processes and requirements.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 per month
