Role Overview

This is not a courtroom or litigation role. This is business-focused legal support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and revise contracts, service agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and employment/contractor paperwork.
  • Review legal risks in business decisions and provide concise recommendations.
  • Research Philippine laws and regulations as needed (labor, data privacy, contracts, obligations).
  • Provide guidance on enforceability of NDAs, dispute mechanisms, and cross-border agreements.
  • Maintain organized records of legal documents, amendments, and policy updates.
  • Coordinate with U.S. counsel when cross-jurisdiction issues arise.
  • Help ensure compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and basic GDPR-aligned practices.
  • Advise on potential liabilities within consulting operations and subcontractor management.

Requirements

  • Philippine-licensed lawyer (mandatory).
  • Strong English comprehension and writing ability — must produce clean and professional drafts.
  • Experience with contract review, business law, labor law, or corporate advisory.
  • Ability to explain legal issues in simple, practical terms.
  • Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

  • Experience with U.S. clients or international companies.
  • Familiarity with NDAs, IP protection, subcontractor agreements, and service-based contracts.
  • Background in corporate compliance, commercial transactions, or tech/data privacy.

Pay: Php2, Php4,200.00 per week
