About the role

As an Environmental Compliance Officer at Manriel Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our construction projects adhere to all relevant environmental regulations and sustainability best practices. This full-time position is based in Metro Manila and will involve collaborating closely with our project management and operations teams to proactively identify and mitigate environmental risks.

What you'll be doing

  1. Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, and regulations
  2. Developing and implementing environmental management plans to minimise the impact of our projects
  3. Conducting environmental inspections, audits, and assessments to identify and address any issues
  4. Preparing and submitting regulatory reports to government agencies
  5. Providing guidance and training to project teams on environmental compliance requirements
  6. Collaborating with stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities, to address environmental concerns
  7. Continuously researching and staying up-to-date with changes in environmental legislation and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field
  2. Minimum 0 years of experience in environmental compliance, new graduates welcome
  3. Willing to understand environmental regulations, permits, and compliance requirements
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with stakeholders at all levels
  6. Familiarity with environmental management systems and sustainability best practices
  7. Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
  8. Willing to travel all over the Philippines and Oversees
