Business Process Improvement Specialist
Overview

This role is for someone who enjoys making sense of complex processes and turning them into something clear, efficient, and future-ready. You'll work closely with different business units to understand how things are done today, identify where friction exists, and translate those insights into smarter workflows powered by tech and data.

Using strong systems thinking, you'll map current processes, analyze how information and decisions flow, and spot opportunities for automation or simplification. You'll also help prioritize improvements based on effort, impact, and organizational goals. You will be making sure we focus on the changes that truly move the needle.

Central to this role is your ability to guide conversations: asking thoughtful questions, facilitating discussions, and helping teams articulate the real problems behind their pain points. From those conversations, you'll synthesize what you've gathered into clear documentation and well-defined requirements for our tech and data teams.

As improvements roll out, you'll support teams through the transition i.e. communicating updates, aligning expectations, and ensuring changes land smoothly across stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Strong capability in documenting workflows, analyzing processes, and creating clear process maps.
  • Skilled in facilitating discussions, asking purposeful questions, and guiding teams toward clarity.
  • Able to synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders into coherent insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable translating business needs into structured requirements for tech and data teams.
  • Basic data analysis or data visualization skills to independently explore datasets when needed.
  • Proactive communicator who can engage stakeholders, share progress updates, and present ideas in both English and vernacular when appropriate.
  • Systems thinker with the ability to prioritize improvements and maintain a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative, empathetic, and able to support teams through change with professionalism and positivity.
