Job Description:
The Maintenance Helper plays a key support role in the daily operations of the electric vehicle (EV) taxi fleet. This position is responsible for ensuring that all EV units are clean, properly charged, and ready for dispatch. The Maintenance Helper works closely with the Dispatcher personnel and other team members to maintain cleanliness, safety, and order within the vehicle warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning & Sanitation:
o Clean the interior and exterior of EV taxi units regularly.
o Ensure vehicles are sanitized according to company hygiene standards.
o Dispose of trash and other waste materials inside vehicles.
- Charging of Electric Vehicles:
o Plug in EV taxis for charging based on charging schedules.
o Monitor battery levels and report any irregularities to the supervisor.
o Ensure all charging equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- ·Vehicle Checks & Reporting:
o Assist in basic inspections (e.g., tire pressure, lights, cleanliness).
o Report any observed damages, irregularities, or maintenance concerns.
o Help in recording charging logs or cleaning checklists, if required.
- Warehouse Support:
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle warehouse.
o Follow all safety protocols in handling EV equipment.
o Assist in parking and arranging vehicles in the designated slots.
Job Qualifications:
- · Education:
o At least high school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience:
o Preferably with experience in vehicle cleaning or warehouse work.
o Basic knowledge of EV charging or willingness to be trained.
Skills & Requirements:
o Physically fit and able to work on foot for long hours.
o Responsible, punctual, and able to follow instructions well.
o Basic understanding of electrical safety (training will be provided).
o Willing to work in shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.
o Honest, trustworthy, and with a strong sense of cleanliness.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php18,000.00 per month
