Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce brand in the pet category, specializing in mentally stimulating toys, pet pillows, bedding, and pet care products. With a strong presence on Amazon and consistent seven-figure annual revenue, the brand is entering its next phase of scale and is looking for a performance-driven PPC expert to fully own and optimize Amazon advertising.

About The Role
The
Amazon PPC Manager
will take full ownership of Amazon advertising, managing campaigns end-to-end with a strong focus on profitability, scalability, and consistent optimization. This role requires someone who knows their numbers, communicates clearly, and treats the account like their own business.
You will be responsible not just for execution, but for strategic decision-making, performance reporting, and ongoing experimentation. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and understands what it takes to manage PPC for established seven-figure Amazon brands.
Responsibilities
- Own Amazon PPC performance across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display
- Build, optimize, and scale campaigns using Scale Insights and native Amazon tools
- Monitor and manage key metrics including ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CVR, CPC, and overall ad efficiency
- Perform consistent keyword mining, search term analysis, and campaign restructuring
- Identify scaling opportunities while maintaining profitability targets
- Conduct regular bid, budget, and placement optimizations
- Proactively monitor campaigns - including checking performance on weekends when necessary Provide clear, consistent updates on performance, insights, and next actions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on product launches, promotions, and seasonal pushes
- Maintain stable and scalable sales performance with a KPI of at least 20% sales growth, while consistently controlling ACOS and TACOS within agreed targets to ensure profitability against the company's baseline.
- Demonstrate a clear and working understanding of COGS, PnL structure, sales trends, bidding automation, bidding rules, budget allocation strategy, BSR trends, CPC, CVR, and customer LTV, and use these metrics to drive daily PPC decisions.
- Be extremely detail oriented and meticulous with numbers, ensuring accuracy in analysis, reporting, and execution at all times.
- Operate with zero tolerance for preventable mistakes or avoidable losses, treating company capital with the same level of care and accountability as personal funds.
- Deliver clear and consistent, data backed performance updates with actionable insights and a defined next step strategy to support sales growth and profitability targets.
- Demonstrate the ability to immediately identify what and how to optimize when reviewing sales and profit performance, translating numbers into precise PPC actions that improve efficiency, scale, and profitability.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) for custom audience targeting and cross-channel attribution, applying day-parting rules, and leveraging SQL to conduct in-depth optimization and performance analysis.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Amazon PPC experience
- Proven experience managing 7-figure Amazon brands only (no sub–7-figure accounts)
- At least 1 year of direct experience using Scale Insights with proven track records
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly explain performance and decisions
- Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of PPC accounts
- Highly consistent, reliable, and proactive in campaign monitoring
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment with accountability for results
