Cabinet Vision Draftsman

Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision Draftsman to join our drafting team and support the production of high-quality, accurate cabinetry drawings. This role reports directly to the Drafting Manager.

Responsibilities

Interpret design scopes, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed Cabinet Vision drafts

Collaborate with Project Managers and Designers to resolve design or specification issues

Maintain Zeel Kitchens' standard sizes and drawing page layouts

Consistently evaluate and suggest ways to improve production efficiency

Propose ideas to the Drafting Manager for optimising Cabinet Vision software usage

Communicate effectively with the drafting team to ensure consistent outcomes

Confidently measure and draft around appliances

Assist in material take-offs and ordering as required

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience using Cabinet Vision (Version 24 or higher)

Proven ability to read and interpret detailed design drawings

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience in material take-offs and procurement

Familiarity with appliance measurement and integration

Software Proficiency

Cabinet Vision (V24 or above)

Education

Qualification in Drafting, Design, or related discipline preferred

Able to manage time effectively and deliver consistent results

Time Zone: Australian Business Hours
