Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Project Engineer - Workplace Technology Solutions
to support the design, implementation, and support of technology solutions across corporate office environments. This role will be instrumental in delivering workplace innovation through integrated AV systems, smart office technologies, collaboration platforms, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, excellent project coordination skills, and the ability to work across multiple departments and vendors to ensure successful technology deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution:

• Support end-to-end delivery of workplace technology projects (conference room AV systems, digital signage, occupancy sensors, room scheduling, networking, etc.) from design through implementation.

Technical Design & Engineering:

• Collaborate with architects, IT, and workplace teams to develop engineering designs, technical documentation, and detailed specifications for workplace technology systems.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with facilities, construction, IT, and third-party vendors to coordinate installations, testing, and handover.

System Integration & Testing:

• Conduct site visits to ensure installations meet design intent and standards. Perform functional testing and support commissioning of technology systems.

Standards & Best Practices:

• Contribute to the development and enforcement of workplace technology standards and ensure alignment with IT and security policies.

Documentation:

• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including technical drawings, user manuals, and change orders.

Support & Handover:

• Provide Level 2 support during go-live and transition to operations teams. Train end-users or local IT support as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT or workplace technology project engineering or support roles.
• Knowledge of systems such as:

-AV and collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Crestron, Logitech, Cisco, etc.)

-Room scheduling and occupancy sensors (e.g., Condeco, Robin, VergeSense)

-Network infrastructure and cabling

• Proficient in reading and creating technical drawings (AutoCAD or similar).
• Familiarity with construction processes and reading floor plans.
• Experience in workplace transformation projects or smart building technologies.
• Experience working on clients' project sites.
