Job Title: Special Needs Education (SNED) Coordinator

Job Summary

The Special Needs Education (SNED) Coordinator oversees and supports the planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs for students with special educational needs. The role ensures inclusive, student-centered learning, compliance with educational standards, and effective collaboration among teachers, parents, and specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage special needs education programs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Provide support to teaching staff
  • Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and student records
  • Participate in meetings, case conferences, and school activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT)
  • At least 2 years of experience in special needs education or related work
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive education practices and child development
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' needs.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace / Google Classroom.
