We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in recording and posting financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking.
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and financial reports.
  • Support in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain organized records of financial documents.
  • Assist with preparing reports for management and external auditors.
  • Perform other administrative or accounting tasks as assigned by the finance team.

What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in payroll processing or tax compliance is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local accounting regulations and reporting standards.
