Plant Auxiliary Operator

  1. Operate, inspects, monitors, records, and evaluates the physical condition of the Boiler, Turbine- generator and related auxiliaries and accessories in the field.

  2. Monitor operating values indicated at local instruments and panels and compare with the standard parameters and reports any abnormalities observed to immediate Supervisor for appropriate action.

  3. Regulates and adjusts auxiliary equipment with local controls to achieve stable operations upon the instruction Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operator.

  4. Observes proper turn-over procedures before leaving the post or taking over the next shift to ensure a smooth turn-over of responsibilities.

  5. Complies with housekeeping within the area of responsibility during assigned shift to maintain standards of cleanliness and orderliness of plant equipment and premises.

  6. Performs isolation and de-isolation of mechanical equipment and low voltage apparatus in ensuring equipment is safe for maintenance work and Permit-To-Work can be issued.

Occasional:

  1. Lubricates and maintains the cleanliness of equipment, auxiliaries, and accessories within the area of responsibility using appropriate cleaning methods to prevent equipment deterioration.

  2. Test-runs emergency generators and all stand-by equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure reliability and performance.

  3. Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor such as taking part in training / developing new operators / implementing orientation programs, preparing necessary reports, revision of plant procedures.

  4. Participates in all company programs and activities.

  5. Performs other assigned tasks from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php17,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • knowledge in auxiliaries: 1 year (Preferred)
  • boiler or turbine operations: 1 year (Preferred)
