Job Description: Technical Assistant - Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Technical Documentation: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing technical documents, including project plans, specifications, shop drawings, and progress reports.
  • Site Support: Provide field support, including conducting site inspections, monitoring work progress against the schedule, and assisting in quality control checks.
  • Coordination: Act as a liaison between the site team, office staff, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow.
  • Compliance: Ensure work execution adheres to approved designs, standards, specifications, and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Previous experience (even entry-level/OJT) in a construction or civil engineering environment is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in drafting and design software, such as AutoCAD, and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Work Ethic: Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Logistics: Willingness to work primarily on-site in the Bulacan-Pampanga project areas.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Licensure: Valid Professional Civil Engineering License (CE) in the Philippines.
