Join Our Team as a Conveyancing Assistant

Support our conveyancers in managing end-to-end property transactions - from preparing contracts to handling PEXA settlements. If you're organised, detail-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, we want to hear from you

�       Assist conveyancers with end-to-end conveyancing processes, including preparation of contracts, transfer documents, and settlement statements.

�       Manage and process transactions using PEXA (Property Exchange Australia), including lodgements, settlements, and workspace management.

�       Conduct property searches, title checks, and prepare relevant documentation.

�       Liaise with clients, banks, real estate agents, solicitors, and government authorities to ensure smooth progression of files.

�       Monitor critical dates and deadlines to keep matters on track.

�       Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and file notes in line with compliance requirements.

�       Provide general administrative support, including preparing correspondence and filing documents.

Requirements

Qualifications:

�       At least 2 years of relevant conveyancing experience.

�       Certificate IV in Conveyancing, Legal Studies, or equivalent (desirable but not essential).

Competencies:

�       Previous experience working in a conveyancing or legal office environment.

�       Demonstrated PEXA experience in handling settlements and lodgements.

�       Strong understanding of conveyancing processes, legislation, and compliance requirements.

�       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first approach.

�       Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

�       Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines under pressure.

�       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice management software.
