Position: Call Center Nurse (Advance Urology Institute)
Reports to: Team Lead
Job Purpose:
- Virtually serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
- Provide virtual administrative support to the clinic by managing patient records, scheduling, and insurance verification if applicable.
- Assist in resolving patient concerns while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide initial point of contact for patients entering the clinic System.
- Handle a high volume of patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize triage skills to determine if further testing is required and implement the appropriate ordering process
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments, and processing necessary paperwork.
- Accurately enter and update patient information in the clinic's electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Exhibit sound nursing judgment in coordinating multiple, complex case management scenarios for patients requiring care and services.
- Identify patient needs, provide accurate information, and offer appropriate solutions or alternatives.
- Follow clinic protocols to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Transfer patient calls or inquiries to the appropriate department or medical staff as needed, ensuring seamless communication.
- Collaborate with other care team members such as primary care providers, specialists, pharmacists, case managers, etc.
- Work collaboratively with onshore team members to meet the patient's needs.
- Report any technical or operational issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
- Stay up to date with AUI policies and healthcare regulations through ongoing training.
- Foster positive patient relationships by providing compassionate and proactive customer service.
- Contribute team goals by meeting performance benchmarks for service quality and efficiency.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Key Competencies:
- Strong customer service skills and patient-centered approach.
- Familiarity of urology terms and virtual triage and documentation best practices
- Active listening and empathy to address patient concerns with care and respect.
- Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes, patient check-ins, and scheduling simultaneously.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and administrative processes.
- Adaptability and teamwork.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Call Center setting, involving both administrative work and virtual phone patient interactions.
- Schedule: Full-time, night shift, weekdays hours, based on client needs and demands.
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and using a computer; occasional lifting of files or supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 per month
