Position: Call Center Nurse (Advance Urology Institute)

Reports to: Team Lead

Job Purpose:

  • Virtually serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
  • Provide virtual administrative support to the clinic by managing patient records, scheduling, and insurance verification if applicable.
  • Assist in resolving patient concerns while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial point of contact for patients entering the clinic System.
  • Handle a high volume of patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize triage skills to determine if further testing is required and implement the appropriate ordering process
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments, and processing necessary paperwork.
  • Accurately enter and update patient information in the clinic's electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Exhibit sound nursing judgment in coordinating multiple, complex case management scenarios for patients requiring care and services.
  • Identify patient needs, provide accurate information, and offer appropriate solutions or alternatives.
  • Follow clinic protocols to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
  • Transfer patient calls or inquiries to the appropriate department or medical staff as needed, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Collaborate with other care team members such as primary care providers, specialists, pharmacists, case managers, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with onshore team members to meet the patient's needs.
  • Report any technical or operational issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Stay up to date with AUI policies and healthcare regulations through ongoing training.
  • Foster positive patient relationships by providing compassionate and proactive customer service.
  • Contribute team goals by meeting performance benchmarks for service quality and efficiency.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong customer service skills and patient-centered approach.
  • Familiarity of urology terms and virtual triage and documentation best practices
  • Active listening and empathy to address patient concerns with care and respect.
  • Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes, patient check-ins, and scheduling simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and administrative processes.
  • Adaptability and teamwork.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Call Center setting, involving both administrative work and virtual phone patient interactions.
  • Schedule: Full-time, night shift, weekdays hours, based on client needs and demands.
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and using a computer; occasional lifting of files or supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30,000.00 per month
