We are looking for a Assistant Training Manager.

As an Assistant Training Manager, we rely on you to:

  • Assist the Director of Human Resources in accomplishing hotel and department goals
  • Identify the department's training needs and develop a training plan for skills, knowledge and other areas for improvement
  • Assess training needs based on performance monitor, employee feedback, guest comments, among others
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources in administering HR policies and procedures, promoting culture and creating a learning environment
  • Demonstrate key competencies and values
  • Be a role model of the Shangri-La beliefs, purpose and vision

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for learning and development
  • Preferably possesses relevant experience in a luxury hotel
  • Has good communication and people management skills
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English
  • Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
  • Enjoys interacting with people
  • Is a critical thinker and a problem solver
  • Is able to communicate priorities and drives business results
