Company Nurse

Position Title: Company Nurse / Admin

Department: Human Resources & Administration

Location: Total Philippines Corporation – BGC Office (On-Site)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Reports To: HR & Admin Manager

The Company Nurse / Admin is responsible for delivering occupational health services, ensuring compliance with DOLE and OSHS requirements, and supporting HR and administrative functions. This role safeguards employee well-being through medical care, wellness programs, and regulatory compliance, while also contributing to HR and administrative efficiency.

Occupational Health & Safety

• Provide immediate medical attention, first aid, and emergency care to employees in case of accidents, illnesses, or injuries within company premises.
• Maintain, update, and safeguard employees' medical and health records in compliance with DOLE and OSHS standards.
• Ensure the clinic is adequately equipped, properly stocked, and compliant with DOLE-mandated medical supplies and facilities.
• Monitor annual physical exams, medical clearances, and pre-employment medical requirements.
• Conduct health risk assessments, workplace inspections, and participate in emergency response and disaster preparedness programs.
• Lead or support health, wellness, and safety awareness campaigns for employees.
• Ensure presence of first-aid coverage across all shifts in accordance with DOLE regulations.

Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

• Serve as the designated Company Nurse under DOLE Rule 1020 registration.
• Hold and maintain valid Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) for Nurses certification (DOLE-accredited).
• Hold valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to provide immediate life-saving interventions.
• Actively participate as a member of the company's Safety & Health Committee in compliance with RA 11058 and DOLE Department Order
• Ensure compliance with all DOLE, OSHS, and other government regulations relating to workplace health and safety.
• Assist in statutory reporting and audit preparation for DOLE and related regulatory agencies.

Administrative & HR Support

• Provide administrative support to HR and Admin functions, including:
• Timekeeping, attendance monitoring, and leave tracking.
• Filing and safeguarding confidential employee documents.
• Assisting in communication of HR policies, memos, and advisories.
• Coordinating logistics for trainings, seminars, and company events.
• Oversee procurement and inventory of medical and office supplies.
• Support HR in wellness programs, engagement initiatives, and employee support activities.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the Philippines.
• With BOSH for Nurses (DOLE-accredited) certification.
• With Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a company nurse or occupational health practitioner; experience in administrative support preferred.
• Knowledge of DOLE/OSHS regulations, Rule 1020 requirements, and workplace safety standards.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and basic HR/admin systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
