About the role

As an in-house Messenger Rider at DJ SHOP, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the company by handling a wide range of errands for various departments. Your responsibilities include picking up and delivering supplies, going to the bank, delivering packages and important documents, and completing other assigned tasks across our Metro Manila operations. This full-time position involves both driving and cycling duties to ensure that all errands and deliveries are carried out safely, efficiently, and on time. Your main role is to serve the company by ensuring that all required tasks and errands are completed promptly and accurately.

What you'll be doing

  • Primary Duties and Tasks:

  • Pickup and Delivery:

    • Deliver and collect documents, parcels, or items between company branches, clients, suppliers, or government offices.
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery according to schedules.

    • Errands and Administrative Support:

    • Run errands such as bank transactions, utility payments, or procurement of office supplies.

    • Assist with minor office or site tasks as needed.

    • Vehicle Maintenance:

    • Conduct routine checks on the assigned motorcycle or vehicle (oil, brakes, tires, fuel).

    • Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and regularly serviced.

    • Record Keeping and Reporting:

    • Submit delivery receipts, reports, or supporting documents to the appropriate department.

    • Compliance and Safety:

    • Follow traffic rules and company policies while on duty.

    • Use safety gear (helmet, reflective vest, etc.) and ensure secure handling of all items.

    • Communication:

    • Coordinate with supervisors or dispatchers for delivery instructions.

    • Notify the office in case of delays, issues, or emergencies.

    • Customer Service:

    • Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or external contacts.

    • Handle deliveries courteously and responsibly.

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years' experience as a courier, messenger or delivery driver
  • If less than a year he/she must be willing to learn or willing to be train.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional behavior.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • The physical fitness and stamina to cycle or drive for extended periods
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently
  • Proficiency in both English and the local language
