Job Description

As a Care Compliance Auditor, you will monitor and review compliance across healthcare operations, ensuring adherence to care standards and regulations. You'll analyze data, assess documentation accuracy, and collaborate with management to develop action plans that ensure the highest quality of care and compliance.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Prior care auditing experience
  • Experience in data analysis and data entry
  • Experience using comprehensive care management systems, including People Planner, AI tools, and DNA (reporting tool for extracting data from IQ-Timecard) - training provided
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written English comprehension and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Understanding of legislation and standards around care delivery to identify areas that do not meet standards
  • Understanding of medication regulations (training provided)
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and virtual communication platforms, with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies such as AI tools where appropriate
  • Highly resilient and positive with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Logical and analytical thinker with the ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Power BI would be beneficial (not required but preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience in care delivery or medical settings would be advantageous

Your Daily Tasks

  • Maintain an ongoing and focused review of compliance status in accordance with Franchise Standards and CQC regulations.
  • Identify, document, and report any areas of non-compliance, ensuring management is informed promptly.
  • Develop and track action plans to address non-compliance issues and achieve full compliance.
  • Review daily care notes and flag any issues that require the Field Care Supervisors' attention.
  • Monitor client feedback and observation notes in IQ-Timecard to identify trends or potential concerns.
  • Check medication e-MARs for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all updates are properly recorded.
  • Review and update care plans and medication records to reflect current client needs and procedures.
  • Monitor and compile data from My Learning Cloud for reporting and compliance analysis.
  • Conduct reporting and statistical analysis, compiling data into tables for comparison and performance tracking.
  • Extract data from DNA systems and compile detailed compliance reports for management review.
  • Support monthly CQC inspection readiness by ensuring indexed documentation is complete and organized.
  • Conduct rolling compliance audits aligned with Franchise Standards to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide weekly compliance reports to Field Care Supervisors, escalating critical findings when necessary.
