As a Software Developer, you will contribute to building and enhancing business-critical applications using industry-accepted tools and practices. The Qualifications We Seek

• University degree qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Software Development
• Junior (2+ years) to Mid-Level PHP (Laravel) development experience
• Good knowledge of one of the following frameworks: Flowable, Camunda, jBPM, Activiti, or other BPM Tools
• Service-Oriented Architecture and BPEL
• Practical knowledge of:
• RESTful web services
• Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Web frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS/LESS, Javascript, TypeScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular or )
• Mobile app development
• Understanding of software development life cycle, including CI/CD and testing best practices
• Practical knowledge of Unit Test frameworks
• Linux-based platform for application deployment and maintenance
• Experience with modern software engineering methodologies (Design Thinking, Agile, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, UX)
• Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technical innovation
• Excellent communication and problem-resolution skills
• Proactively shares knowledge with team members
• Ability to work in a large, diverse team environment
• Professional behavior with integrity and transparency when delivering work

Your Daily Tasks

• Write and implement efficient code for company systems
• Identify areas for modification in existing systems and develop/test changes
• Collaborate with the Team Leader or Manager to set priorities and key deliverables
• Take technical responsibility for the design and implementation of systems and components
• Uphold programming conventions, practices, and methodologies
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrations and solutions meet business needs
• Provide accurate estimates on tasks and proactively communicate potential delays
• Manage development processes to align with best practices and ISO27001 standards
• Work within an agile development methodology (user stories, backlog reviews, progress tracking)
• Follow quality assurance procedures
• Prepare applications for deployment on production systems

Key Deliverables

• Develop code and processes to conform to best practices and company guidelines.
• Ensure all software, systems and processes are adequately documented.
• Take all practical steps to maintain uptime of systems within the team portfolio to comply with agreed SLAs.
