Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data migration projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the transfer of data.
  • Design and implement solutions for migrating data between various systems and platforms.
  • Develop, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to facilitate data migration.
  • Work with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Apply accounting principles to validate data accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify requirements and address any data migration issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and security throughout the migration process.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to manage and execute data migration projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing expertise and leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Quality Assurance (QA), including test planning, test case development, defect tracking, and ensuring software quality standards.
  • Preferably, 2 years of experience in IT, data management, or data migration.
  • At least 2 years of strong experience with SQL databases.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong SQL writing skills with proven expertise in complex query development.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application in data management.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to learn and understand the insurance doman and the data you will be working with
  • Proven ability to understand the relationship between data and business outcomes and focus on long-term strategies.
  • Skilled in identifying and addressing gaps in business requirements with a collaborative approach.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Outcome-focused with excellent decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience working within the insurance domain is highly desirable.
  • Agile Scrum experience is preferred
