About the Role

As a
Senior Accountant
, you'll oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance, and deliver financial insights to clients. You'll work closely with leadership and manage a small team, ensuring smooth operations across reporting, audits, and client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
  • Build strong client relationships and provide tailored financial advice
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage reconciliations, general ledger, and fixed assets
  • Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end closing of books
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits, and statutory requirements
  • Oversee payroll preparation and processing
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring quality and timely output
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (US GAAP and/or IFRS)
  • Solid experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, Odoo, Xero)
  • People management experience
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Good-to-Have

  • CPA license (preferred but not required)
  • International client service experience
