JOB SUMMARY

The Background Artist applies the color and ambiance to the approved layout, adhering to the background keys provided by the client through digital painting. They ensure the alignment with the predetermined visual style and aesthetic for the production.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Produces background keys within the show's particular genre or style.
  • Paints the approved layout, follows the client guidelines, and adapts to the style requirements
  • Reviews all of the show materials including the animatic, route sheet, color keys, and props.
  • Adheres to the quality requirements of the client and Top Draw standard.
  • Ensures timely delivery of assigned tasks while maintaining the required quality.
  • Collaborates with the team members supervisors, and other departments, while sharing their ideas.
  • Gives and receives constructive and creative feedback.
