Graduate of BS Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Food Technology and with related technical course. Passed Government Licensure examination in any of the above courses or a Chemical Technician Licensure.

1.)Promotes and supports the company's Quality and Food Safety system and policies such as GMP, GLCP, and HACCP and to immediately report to proper authorities all Food Safety related deviations.

2.) Strict adherence to and implementation of all company rules and regulations and established policies and procedures.

3.) Ensures proper and prompt inspection, evaluation and disposition of material deliveries according to established  procedures.  Immediately informs his/her QA Lab Head and Warehouse  on RM/PM quality issues and discrepancies and acts as instructed by the QA Lab Head.

4.) Ensures conformance of delivery materials according to relevant specifications and standards, as well as to set criteria for quality and food safety requirements.

5.) Ensures the use of approved analytical procedures in the conduct of evaluation, testing and analysis of obtained/submitted samples.

6.)  Ensures the  prompt and proper  recording,  reporting and preparation  of relevant documentation requirements (COAs,  LARs) according to Good Laboratory Practices procedures.

7.) Strictly complies to the requirements and procedures of Good Laboratory Practices.

8.) When qualified, conducts internal audits (GMP,  HACCP, QFSMS, etc.).

9.) Conducts verification analysis/test of product complaints, Client materials and products according to required parameters.

10.) Responsible for taking over relevant task, duties and responsibilities or serves as Deputy

In-Charge  of the Chemist during his/her absence,  leave  or non-availability in  line  with laboratory matters.

11.) Observes 5S housekeeping principle in the conduct of daily tasks and assignments.

12.) Performs other duties as maybe assigned by his/her immediate superior.
