What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing robust supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and meet business objectives
  2. Managing the procurement function, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships
  3. Overseeing inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, and implementing effective inventory control systems
  4. Coordinating logistics and distribution activities to optimise transportation, warehousing, and delivery
  5. Analysing supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply chain operations with the wider business goals
  7. Developing and leading a high-performing supply chain team, providing mentorship and continuous development
  8. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
  2. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics
  3. Proven track record in implementing supply chain optimisation strategies and driving operational improvements
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
  5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  6. Strategic thinking and the ability to align supply chain operations with the overall business objectives
  7. Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and data analysis tools
  8. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
