About the role

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. is seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer (Lead) to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a contract role, this position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex database solutions to support our growing business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of developers and play a crucial part in driving the success of our technology initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design, develop and implement efficient and scalable PL/SQL database solutions
  2. Troubleshoot and optimize existing database systems to improve performance and reliability
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  4. Mentor and guide a team of junior developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews
  5. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices, and implement them where appropriate

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. 5 years of experience as a PL/SQL developer, with a proven track record of delivering complex database solutions
  3. At least 2 years of experience leading a team.
  4. Extensive knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle database administration, and SQL tuning techniques
  5. Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
