MERCHANDISER- PAMPANGA NORTH

A merchandiser's primary role is to optimize the presentation and availability of products to maximize sales and profitability within a retail environment. This involves tasks such as stocking shelves, creating attractive displays, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with other teams like marketing and sales. They also monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and research consumer behavior to anticipate trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Presentation:

Creating and maintaining appealing in-store or online product displays that attract customers and encourage purchases.

  • Inventory Management:

Monitoring stock levels, ensuring adequate product availability, and minimizing waste or losses.

  • Sales Analysis:

Analyzing sales data, identifying best-selling items, and understanding customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions.

  • Collaboration:

Working with buyers, marketing teams, and other departments to develop effective sales and promotional strategies.

  • Supplier Relations:

Negotiating with suppliers on pricing, delivery timelines, and other relevant aspects.

  • Trend Forecasting:

Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and adjust strategies.

  • Problem Solving:

Identifying and resolving issues related to product availability, display placement, or other challenges that may impact sales.
