About the role

Join the growing team at Zirconia Inc' as a Compliance Officer based in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant government regulations and internal policies. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance activities and providing guidance to the wider business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Monitoring changes in legislation, regulations and industry standards to identify any impact on the business
  2. Developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures and controls to mitigate identified risks
  3. Conducting regular compliance reviews, audits and risk assessments across the organisation
  4. Providing training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters
  5. Representing the company in dealings with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
  6. Investigating and resolving any compliance issues or breaches
  7. Reporting on the company's compliance status to senior management

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar regulatory role, preferably within the government or public sector
  2. Excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards applicable to the government and public sector
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  5. Ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
  6. Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, business, risk management or a related field
