Role description:

Purpose This role will be responsible:

• To operate within a single discipline with little supervision.

• To support model delivery and compliance with project and company standards and meets clients Exchange Information Requirements (EIR).

• To be able to use 3 or more modelling software packages with speciality in one package.

• May lead a small team in BIM modelling and drawing production for single discipline under the supervision of BIM Coordinator.

• To create a sense of shared ownership and accountability balancing this with decisiveness and holding others to account for delivery.

• To take ownership for own responsibility, creating clarity and motivating and aligning others.

Role accountabilities:

• Use technical knowledge and experience to apply technical and practical engineering production skills in a BIM environment for typically larger and more complex commissions

• Support the design, development, manufacture and construction of products, equipment, processes, systems or services

• Are responsible for model delivery and ensuring their model complies with project and company standards. They have knowledge of the BIM process

• Execute 3D modelling in a CDE (Common Data Environment) with limited supervision.

• Expand understanding of the business benefits and build working relationships with regional colleagues.

• Play a central role in the production of project BIM deliverables including 3D models that are accurate and developed in compliance with the relevant Arcadis project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

• Output BIM models and interface with drafting teams to enable drawings to be produced based on BIM models.

• Work with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution.

• Successfully complete assigned BIM modelling work within budget and deadlines.

• Present 3-dimensional representations of the model in suitable formats (e.g visualisations) when requested.

• Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture or Equivalent Courses /

Technical Certification relating to BIM.

• Preferably 4 years of experience working with relevant BIM Softwares on BIM projects.

• Job experience in design consulting firm is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Application (word, excel, outlook).

• Overseas Experience is advantage (work in other countries or project design outsourcing company).

• Excellent Revit and Autocad skills

• Knowledgeable Navisworks and clash detection

• Revit add-ins is an advantage
