We're looking for an overseas Adobe Premiere Pro video editor to support us project‑to‑project (1–3 jobs/month) with potential for a long‑term relationship. You'll assemble clean, on‑brand edits from detailed briefs, then hand off the organized Premiere project so our senior editor can finalize.

Typical work: commercial spots, beauty/hair content, talking‑head corporate videos, and highlight reels.

What you'll do

  • Ingest and organize footage; create proxies when needed.
  • Auto‑synchronize camera and external audio (waveform/timecode; multicam).
  • Review/assess selects, storytell, and build compelling edits from interviews/scripts.
  • Rough/clean cuts, pacing, transitions; basic color correction and audio leveling (noise reduction a plus).
  • Add simple graphics: lower thirds, captions/subtitles, and music (royalty‑free provided or sourced within budget).
  • Export deliverables in requested aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) and codecs.
  • Deliver the original Premiere project (.prproj) with well‑labeled bins/sequences so a senior editor can pick up instantly.

Must‑haves

  • Strong Adobe Premiere Pro skills and demonstrated narrative sense.
  • Fluent English and responsive communication.
  • Meticulous timeline/file organization; follows clear written directions/brand guides.
  • Reliable internet and ability to meet agreed deadlines (typical first cut within 48–72 hrs when requested; otherwise per‑project schedule).

Nice‑to‑haves

  • After Effects (titles/motion), Lumetri color, audio cleanup (e.g., RX), captioning.

Compensation & Terms

  • Project‑based or hourly ($5 to $10/hr) depending on scope/experience.
  • Estimated load: 1–3 projects per month (seasonal).
  • Paid test edit for shortlisted candidates. NDA required. All files/rights transfer upon payment.
