Job Summary:
The Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling cars and trucks to prospective clients. This role involves prospecting, building strong customer relationships, explaining product features and benefits, negotiating deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires strong communication skills, sales expertise, and a customer-first approach to achieve individual and company sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, walk-in customers, and referrals.
- Present, promote, and sell cars and trucks to both retail and corporate clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain vehicle features, specifications, and financing options.
- Understand and analyze customer needs to recommend suitable vehicle models.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate sales contracts and ensure terms are clearly communicated and agreed upon.
- Process sales transactions and assist clients with documentation and financing applications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide excellent after-sales support and follow-up with clients.
- Participate in sales events, exhibits, and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven work experience as a Sales Executive, preferably in automotive sales (cars and/or trucks).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with the ability to understand and address client needs.
- Goal-driven, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic MS Office tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive both cars and trucks.
