As a Junior Chef, you will be part of the Main Kitchen team at the Head Office, responsible for preparing and cooking daily meals for all employees. You will assist in ensuring that food is cooked to company standards in terms of taste, quality, safety, and presentation. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals for Head Office employees according to established menus and standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in the kitchen at all times.
  • Monitor ingredients and supplies to avoid shortages and minimize waste.
  • Support in receiving, storing, and properly handling food items.
  • Contribute ideas to improve menu variety and employee dining satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary diploma or degree from a recognized institution, or equivalent kitchen experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen (canteen, restaurant, or catering experience preferred).
  • Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a structured kitchen environment.
  • Passionate about preparing quality meals and creating a positive dining experience for employees.
