What's The Role

The Supply Chain (SC) Insights team delivers high-quality, data-driven intelligence that empowers Shell's global Supply Chain organization to achieve operational excellence and deliver measurable business value. As a Senior Consultant in Advanced Analytics, you will leverage advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving strategic initiatives that support Shell's ambition to be the world's leading integrated energy company.

What You'll Do

1. Deliver Advanced Analytics & AI Solutions

· Design, develop, and implement SC Insights products and services using advanced analytics, AI, and ML techniques to optimize supply chain performance.

· Build predictive and prescriptive models to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and identify value improvement opportunities.

· Maintain and enhance supporting processes, tools, and systems for scalability and automation.

1. Provide Insightful Reporting & Recommendations

· Create and manage dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards that highlight performance trends, compliance, and value opportunities.

· Conduct deep-dive analyses and ad-hoc reporting to address critical business questions using AI-driven insights.

1. Drive Strategic Projects & Innovation

· Lead or contribute to high-impact projects, including proof-of-concepts for AI/ML solutions, advanced modeling, and digital transformation initiatives.

· Introduce innovative approaches and best practices in data science, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making.

1. Act as a Trusted Business Partner

· Serve as the primary analytics focal point for a designated SC organization (up to GM-1/GM level), building strong relationships and understanding business priorities.

· Translate complex AI/ML outputs into clear, actionable insights using business language, influencing stakeholders to implement recommendations.

· Proactively identify and propose new AI-driven solutions that address emerging business needs.

1. Thought Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

· Lead a focus area within SC Insights, developing frameworks, standards, and best practices for AI/ML adoption in supply chain analytics.

· Mentor and coach team members on advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

· Global scope: Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.

· Cross-functional exposure: Work closely with IT, Finance Operations, and other SC teams.

· Flexible working: May require mid-shift alignment for Manila-based roles.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, or related functions with strong exposure to analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation.

Technical Expertise

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
• Strong skills in Python, R, SQL, and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) and cloud platforms (Azure)
• Knowledge of CP master data, supply chain processes, and systems is highly desirable.
