Job Information

Job Description

A Third Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the engine room, including specific auxiliary machinery like generators and boilers, while also supervising junior crew. Their duties include performing maintenance, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, monitoring fuel and lubricants, and standing engine room watch. They are also involved in emergency duties and reporting.
