Liberty Trading and General Services Corporation is a private company founded on October 15, 2014. It specializes in preventive maintenance services, including kitchen exhaust systems (IKECA standards), mechanical and chemical de-clogging, as well as civil, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical design, installation, maintenance, repairs, and fabrication. Focused on facility and infrastructure upkeep—everything from kitchen exhaust cleaning, system checks, and clog removal to larger-scale mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural projects.
Position: Warehouseman / Purchasing Assistant
Reports To: Assistant Purchasing Manager
Summary:
Responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching materials in the warehouse, as well as assisting in the purchasing process by sourcing, requesting quotations, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Functions:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Organize and store materials properly to maintain cleanliness, safety, and easy retrieval.
- Prepare and release items for delivery or production as per requests.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
- Monitor warehouse supplies and notify the supervisor when stock levels are low.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to company policies.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and compliant with safety regulations.
Purchasing Assistance Functions:
- Assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers for goods and materials.
- Request and compile quotations from suppliers.
- Prepare purchase requests and assist in processing purchase orders.
- Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules.
- Maintain purchasing records and supplier databases.
- Assist in cost comparison and supplier evaluation.
Job Qualifications:
- At least a high school graduate; vocational or college graduate is an advantage.
- Preferably with at least 6 months of experience in warehouse operations, purchasing, or related fields.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of inventory management.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety practices.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Other Requirements:
- Physically fit to handle lifting and warehouse work.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Can work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
