Job Description:
The Bidding Specialist is responsible for preparing, organizing, and submitting bids and tender documents to secure business opportunities for the company. This role involves coordinating with internal departments to ensure all requirements and documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. The specialist also monitors bid announcements, maintains bid records, and ensures compliance with client and government procurement guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and monitor bid opportunities from government and private sectors.
- Prepare and compile bidding documents in accordance with tender requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and internal departments to gather necessary information.
- Ensure all submissions comply with client, company, and regulatory standards.
- Manage bid files, tracking systems, and documentation for audit and reference.
- Attend bid openings and represent the company in bid-related meetings when necessary.
- Provide post-bid support including documentation follow-ups and status monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in bidding, procurement, or documentation work
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes (PhilGEPS, etc.) is an advantage.
