Summary of job role and place in organization

The Text Specialist is responsible for ensuring high-quality product information and localization through category mapping, attribute management, quality assurance of AI-generated content (incl. translation, localization) , quality assurance of product images importing in system and monitoring product information completeness. This position plays a critical role in the product content journey to work across various systems (e.g., PIM) to create, enrich, validate and maintain product information while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities/core tasks

·       Category Mapping and Validation: Ensure products are categorized correctly within defined taxonomies.

·       Attribute Management: Fill in product attributes and validate listing variation structures and variants.

·       Quality Assurance of AI Content:

o   Audit AI-generated product descriptions to ensure compliance with content text criteria.

o   Conduct quality assurance of AI-generated translations, verifying localization effectiveness and incorporating valuable keywords based on market research.

·       Image Quality Assurance: Evaluate product images to ensure they meet quality and branding standards.

·       Monitoring Completeness: Independently oversee and ensure the completeness and accuracy of all product-related information.

·       Assist maintain all products relevant information (incl. saleable, blocked, compliance info. etc) in CMS/PIM.

·       Assist team leader with other relevant tasks.

Competences (knowledge, skills, personal abilities and working experience

Knowledge:

·       Understanding of product categorization and taxonomy.

·       Familiarity with localization practices and market-specific requirements.

Skills:

·       Writing and Editing Skills: Ability to create, edit, and maintain high-quality product content.

·       Detail Oriented: Strong capacity to inspect product details and content accuracy.

·       Planning and Organizing: Proficient in developing systematic plans and executing tasks within established deadlines.

·       Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Experience:

·       No experience required but familiarity with content management systems and product information management systems is beneficial.
