This fully remote role focuses on preparing financials for external clients, which are then handed off to the tax team for return preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, maintain general ledgers, and complete reconciliations for external clients.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Process payroll and handle payroll tax filings for multiple clients.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjustments and accruals.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively directly with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial guidance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Experience managing multiple clients and complex workloads.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including payroll processing and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
