Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate Senior React Native Engineer to be a Subject-Matter-Expert or technical leader within our Scrum team. In this role, you won't just build features; you will architect robust solutions, drive technical excellence, and elevate the skills of the entire team. Key Responsibilities

  • Architect & Build:
    Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-performance features for our cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
  • Collaborate & Innovate:
    Partner closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers to transform product vision into elegant and scalable technical solutions.
  • Champion Quality:
    Drive a culture of quality by writing clean, testable code, performing meticulous code reviews, and championing best practices in testing and performance optimization.
  • Mentor & Lead:
    Guide and empower mid-level and junior engineers, fostering their growth through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
  • Optimize & Evolve:
    Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring our applications are fast, responsive, and reliable on both iOS and Android.
  • Own Delivery:
    Take ownership of feature delivery within an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality increments sprint after sprint.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.
  • 5–7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus (3+ years) on building sophisticated mobile applications with React Native.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a deep understanding of the React Native ecosystem.
  • Proven experience with modern state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand) and navigation libraries (e.g., React Navigation).
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate complex RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and other external services.
  • Solid understanding of mobile development lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox).
  • A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills, with a genuine passion for Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Big plus if you have:

  • Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a public portfolio of work.
