APO & IBP JD

  • Experience as SAP Functional Consultant with preferably 5-7 years of Domain experience around Supply Chain Planning
  • Detailed hands-on and customizing knowledge of SAP APO-SNP, SAP APO-PPDS, SAP APO GATP is a must
  • Knowledge of SAP Core Interface-CIF, SAP IBP is preferable
  • Experience in Tactical & Strategic Planning and Operational Planning (Material Planning, Production Planning, Supply planning)
  • Experience in S&OP Planning preferred
  • Experience in Integration of Planning tools with ECC / S4. Experience in SAP S/4HANA would be an added advantage
  • Ability to lead the team for tactical planning / MRP against projected or actual return & repair flow.
  • Ability to document, validate, acknowledge & recognize business requirements, and translate them into functional IT specifications. And select the correct solution / direction that corresponds with the functional specifications
  • Good communication, presentation, and articulation skills.
  • Good Customer engagement skills

IBP JD:

IBP consultant requires demonstrable in-depth knowledge and a minimum of 5-7 years' experience

  • Experience integrating with ECC Ability to liaise with a maturing business group of mixed experience levels.
  • Demonstrable experience in data integration techniques
  • Ability to translate between APO and IBP
  • Experience in wholesale distribution environment
  • 10 years of IBP experience with Planning or APO background
  • Understanding of IBP Demand planning and SOP process flow
  • Need to configure the Attributes, Master Data, Key Figures, Forecast Profiles, SOP Profiles, Alerts, Analytics Dashboards in at least 2 projects
  • Helping the Business users for system understanding and creating the Planning Templates
  • IBP Demand Planning and SOP module implementation / Support experience
  • IBP Flat file upload and data validation
  • Experienced in IBP Demand model and SOP configuration
  • Experienced in IBP Demand planning and SOP functionalities
  • Access Management Creation Roles for IBP Users

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP APO and IBP solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Integrate APO/IBP with SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems.
  • Configure and optimize planning processes including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Support data integration using CPI-DS or SDI for IBP.
  • Conduct workshops, training, and documentation for business users.
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP APO (DP, SNP, PPDS) and SAP IBP (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP).
  • Strong knowledge of planning algorithms, heuristics, and optimizer configuration.
  • Experience with integration tools like CPI-DS, SDI, or BW extractors.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain planning processes and KPIs.
  • Experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP certifications in APO and/or IBP.
  • Experience with S/4HANA transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ABAP debugging and enhancements is a plus.
