CAD Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Adjust current drawings and recommend changes based on their understanding and knowledge of the project.
  • Design and draft CAD (computer-aided design) drawings.
  • Follow project schedules.
  • Meet all project specifications and formatting within company principles.
  • Meet project due dates.
  • Work closely with the Design and Engineering team, project manager, and project engineers to make sure that the design is precise. Also, to ensure and that contract responsibilities are met.
  • Accountable for the maintenance of the CAD drawing library.
  • Aid in increasing and maintaining quality assurance processes.
  • Prepare presentation materials using AutoCAD graphic software.
  • Review and interpret client specifications.
  • Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
  • Perform other duties as are customarily performed by one holding such position in similar business or enterprise and shall render other services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or College Degree
  • Knowledge of building systems and controls, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems, is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to learn quickly and think critically.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
