The Merchandising Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing merchandising strategies that drive sales and profitability for the retail business. This role ensures the right product mix, pricing, promotions, and visual merchandising standards are in place to maximize customer satisfaction and business performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years above of experience in merchandising or retail buying, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, consumer behavior, and product lifecycle.
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising/planning software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance creativity and business goals.
